Meet the Team!

“I have always grown up with and around animals and I have always loved them, but something changed that made that love even stronger and I knew all I wanted to do was work with animals.
I was bullied horribly in junior and high school and my animals, at that time if it wasn’t for my rabbit, dog, horse and hedgehog I don’t think I would be alive today! Then my bunny, my best friend, Bugsy passed away in Jan 2018 and I wanted to be able to give back to him the way the way he supported and gave back to me when I was hurt and wanting to die.
In June 2018 I bought my first new rabbit since Bugsy and I noticed all the ad’s and how many homeless bunnies their was and it was switch in my head! Bugsy along with my other pets helped give me a reason to live and they saved my life so I decided I wanted to save the lives of other rabbits and small animals as well..with rescue!! 

So in honour of Bugsy, Urban Tails Rabbit Rescue was opened in August 2018 and we have found and re home at least 50 rabbits since opening and we hope that number keeps rising!
