General Info

  • The average lifespan of domesticated rabbits is between 8-13 years.

  • Rabbits all have very different personalities, so when searching for your perfect new friend spend a little time with each rabbit to make sure he/she is a good fit.

  • Rabbits teeth are constantly growing. Always have hay available for them and you can also give them wooden chew toys or make your own with branches (maple or apple wood is the best).

  • Rabbits love to chew almost everything so do not leave anything beside their cage that they can reach, especially wires.

  • Rabbits need time out of their cage to run around and get some exercise. If you don't have a room to let your bunny run around in safely, you can purchase pens for them at most pet stores.

  • When handling them, hold securely, they have fragile bodies and can get seriously injured if they fall or jump from high up.

  • NEVER lift your rabbit up by the ears, legs or tail. It is very painful to them. Also, only pick them up by the scruff of the neck only when needed.
